What is PLAN A?

Atlanta continues to grow rapidly so we need to be smart and equitable about how we plan for the future. In 2023, the city of Atlanta gained 11,000 residents, which came by surprise since it was projected that our growth would begin to decline after the COVID-19 pandemic - quite the opposite. PLAN A (Atlanta's Comprehensive Development Plan) is the plan that visualizes what housing, transportation, economic development, urban design, and other key factors will look like for all Atlantans. It is the plan for Atlanta’s future!
